The construction of this short-sleeved tee is a little unusual. Two identical side panels are knit up to the underarms, where extra stitches are cast on to make short sleeves. These two panels are “zipped up” by front & back lace panels of variable widths. The size of the sweater is primarily determined by the size of these central panels. You may use any lace pattern for these panels, provided the lace blocks to a width appropriate for your chosen size. When working side panels, slip the first st of each row.
