Therefore Mittens are knitted in the round, from cuff up to the fingertips, with a few options for the cuff: short, long or with a split. You can choose to knit a classic version or a tabi version. The cuff can be knit in stockinette or different variations of rib to obtain loose or more tight fit - the choice is yours! The rest of the mittens is knitted in stockinette stitch.

Size 2 for hand circumference of 18-20cm

Gauge: 26sts and 42 rows in 10cm, in stockinette st, wet blocked

Needle size: 3mm circular needles, or the required needles to obtain gauge on long cable for magic-loop and 3 mm double-pointed needles, or the required needles to obtain gauge.

2 (3) balls of Lamana Yarn Milano (25g/180m)

Suggested yarn: Lamana Yarn Milano (25g/180m), 90% merino wool, 10% cashmere, two strands held together.

Notions: 2 removable stitch markers, one BOR marker, extra cable or scrap yarn, tapestry needle

Techniques: long tail cast-on method, knitting in the round, knitting flat, increases, decreases, picking up stitches, kitchener stitch, wet blocking
