“I don’t think there’s any artist of any value who doesn’t doubt what they’re doing.”
-Francis Ford Coppola

Third Coast is an adorable textured pullover with a moderately boxy shape, split hem, and slim sleeves that are flattering on a variety of body types. It’s knit bottom up in the round, after a back and forth hem, with a textured pattern that is both easy to memorize and fun to knit. Once you start on the sleeves, you’ll fly through them; with mainly stockinette stitch, they’ll be perfect for a weekend Knitflix marathon. Third Coast has the versatility to be dressed up for date night, down for family pizza night, or anything in between.

Overflowing with twelve beautiful designs featuring local indie yarn dyers and stunning views of the Michigan landscape, this issue is our largest yet! The knitting patterns include a hat, socks, shawls, and sweaters, and range from fingering weight to worsted and from beginner to advanced. Fall in love with Michigan from the comfort of your home; explore the region with us as you turn the pages, meet the local indie dyers, and pick a new project to cast on.
