No purling, no grafting, no long cast on or bind off, no cutting colors for each stripe
Just relaxing garter stitch and an unusual (but easy) construction method

Borrowing a technique from sock knitting, this shawl uses a variation on an afterthought or peasant heel to shoot stripes off in different directions. This video tutorial will walk you through the basics of those techniques, as well as the adaption used in this design.
