General Construction
Thistle Field is an asymmetrical triangular kerchief with unusual shaping. It is worked sideways, starting from a corner. A wide edging is worked along one side and a narrow picot edging is added on the other two sides.

Skill Level:
If you are an experienced crocheter, you will appreciate the unusual combination of Lover’s Knots with standard crochet stitches. However, the project will be easy enough even if you are a beginner.

Exact gauge is not critical for this design. The measurements listed above are only guidelines and you can make this shawl smaller or larger by working fewer or more row repeats of the stitch pattern.
