The ornamental pattern on Thordale Fingerless Mittens has been adapted from a traditional Norwegian colourowrk motif.

Materials needed

Jamieson & Smith Shetland Supreme 2 Ply Jumper Weight - 100% Real Shetland Wool (172m/50g ball)
Yarn A - Shade 2007 Sholmit: 1 x 50g ball

Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight - 100% Real Shetland Wool (118m/25g ball)
Yarn B - Shade 81 Charcoal: 1 x 25g ball
Yarn C - Shade 4 Brown Marl: 1 x 25g ball

The lengths can be adjusted by having a shorter ribbing and by placing the thumb opening a few rounds higher.
The circumference of the mitten can be adjusted by having up to 4 sts more or 4 sts less (in multiples of 2) for the palm of the mitten.
