This simple summer shrug is knit with fine yarn at a loose gauge to create a lightweight fabric that is perfect for cool summer evenings or to take the chill off air conditioned spaces.

I used 10 yards shy of one skein of Heart You, if this makes you nervous you might want to have an extra skein on hand or a partial in something contrasting or complimentary to do the final ribbing band in should you run short.

Sizing: One size - will fit the equivalent of womens small-medium-large
Yarn: Nerd Girl Yarns Heart You - light fingering weight, 490 yards per 100 grams
Needles: US 8 32” circular or larger depending on your preference for cable size when doing magic loop
Notions: Stitch marker for marking start of round, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: 4 sts x 5 rows in stockinette = 1”
