These mitts or wristlets were designed to pay tribute to Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm.

They feature a lace pattern with lots of beads and a little crochet edging with yet more beads at the top, finishing with a crocheted picot edge.
The pattern has a repeat of 10 stitches so it can be upsized or downsized (adult and child sizes given).
It is best worked with a set of dpns because those needles are very fast for all the yarn overs and twisted stitches.

The pattern does not require a lot of yarn, one might call it a half-skein-wonder depending on the yarn which makes it very versatile for any kind of stash ;-)
