This crocheted blanket can be easily adapted to any size, any weight yarn and any fiber. It uses a main color (MC) and then several contrast colors (CC), making it a good choice if you are trying to use up stash yarn scraps. A 7-stitch double bobble creates the hearts and you can amend the pattern to any size based on a multiple of 7 plus 1 stitches.

I used 600 yards of white and 350 yards of contrast color (about 50 yards each of 7 colors) to make a crib blanket. You can also use up stash/scraps or use 1 contrast color. Either way, there’s a few (!) ends to weave in but I think they’re worth it!
