Three patterns for three hats, part hand-woven and part knit. Hats consist of a woven tube, gathered at the top, with lower hem knitted.

For the first hat:

12 or 12.5 dent heddle
15” minimum width on heddle
12 or 12.5 epi, 12 picks per inch in plain weave

gauge for knitting: 21sts x 28 rows for 10x10cm/4x4” with US6/4mm needles over st st
