Please note that the gauge given for the ribbed section of the mitt should be measured un-stretched. My gauge, with the Full o’ Sheep yarn (which is thicker than some worsted weight yarns) seems to be knit a bit looser than others’. Most people have been using a larger needle size than what I used to get the correct gauge.
