Three of Hearts is knit using one skein of super squishy and soft Blue Sky Alpaca EXTRA. This beautiful yarn leaves wonderfully defined cables against a reverse stockinette back ground. Slightly slouchy, the beret looks beautiful any way you style it. A subtle Hugs and Kisses cable motif that forms the band of the hat is knit flat and then joined. Stitches are then picked up and the body of the hat is knit in the round. Three of Hearts takes its name from the three decreasing heart cables that make up the body and crown of the hat.
The hat is inspired by love and valentines day, but the motifs are subtle enough to enjoy and wear all season.

Yarn:
Blue sky alpaca EXTRA heavy worsted weight Alpaca and merino 250g/ 218yds.
Hat uses approx. 143g = 125 yds
shown in color Carmine.
