The Three Rivers Shawl, knit in in Buffalo Wool Company’s Sexy (50% Bison Down/50% Silk) and Earth (90% Bison Down/10% Nylon) celebrates the spirit Three Rivers in Yellowstone National Park with three lace panels representing rivers, squishy garter stitch panels representing earth, and a generous lace border representing waterfalls.

Shawl is assymetrical in shape and is worked from 4 cast on stitches down to an elegant lace border. Enjoy garter stitch panels alternating with lace panels.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:
Moderate
Beginning knowledge of lace knitting is a plus.

MATERIALS:
MC - 400 yds fingering weight yarn (garter stitch panels)
CC - 400 yds lace weight yarn (lace panels and lace border)

US 5/3.75mm needle with long cable for working back and forth

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length: 87 inches measured along top edge
Width: 24 inches measured from corner of border to top edge

You may use 800 yds of fingering weight if you desire, but know that changing the yarn size will affect the overall dimensions of the shawl.
