One pattern, three variations: half a ball makes the cowl, one ball makes the scarf, one and a half to two balls makes a baby blanket. 9mm/US 13 needles are used throughout; straights for the cowl and scarf, a 24-32” circular for the blanket.

You will need three buttons for the cowl.
