The “Through Thick and Thin Cowl” pattern plays with using different needle sizes to get a unique striped cowl that can be knit by knitters of all levels. The cowl is first knit as a tube and then seamed so it looks great from any angle.

Sizes
The cowl has both a shorter and a longer variation. The shorter variation hits approximately mid-torso, and the longer variation is long enough to comfortably wear wrapped around twice. You’ll need 410 yards of any worsted weight to knit the shorter cowl, and 570 yards to knit the longer one.
