This throw is knitted on size 15 circular knitting needles using a medium weight cotton thread and Pufpaffs Fiber Processing Unspun Roving.

An average size throw takes about 4 pounds of roving and the cotton thread. The thread can either match the color of the roving or be used as an accent. When completed the throw is lightly fulled in the washer, just enough to felt the roving and then dried flat. The author has used one on her sofa for over 10 years and it still looks as good at the day it was made.
