You can use any type of yarn with the proper needle size associated to make this cute little thumb cover. I opted for the Andes yarn because that is what she chose out of my stash and I figured if she found it to be beautiful, she would be more apt to wear it.

My daughter has been sucking her thumb since before she was born. Now that she’s 6-years-old and her big girl teeth are coming in, we are trying to break this habit gently - and this is my solution. It took me about thirty minutes to knit up so it’s quick and easy… and she loves it.
