This pattern is super quick and fairly easy for anyone used to knitting socks. Note: this is not a pattern for beginner knitters. But if you have knitted in the round, especially if you used two sets of circular needles, you’ll find it a snap.

Provided are instructions for infant and baby sizes, because they don’t really need thumbs in their mittens! Gauge isn’t terribly important.

The pattern uses a relatively small amount of yarn (about 85 yards for the infant size) so you can use leftovers from a sock project, or make them to match a hat.
