As we head into summer (and thunderstorm season where I live), I thought it would be fun to design a pair of socks with a striking stitch pattern that reminds me of lightning bolts. The two-stitch cables that make up the lightning bolts are really easy to work (even without a cable needle), and even easier to memorize—perfect for some relaxing and mindless summer knitting.
