The rich colors of hand-dyed yarns are electrified in this energetic sock pattern. A simple textured pattern runs cuff to toe, angling left and right mimicking lightning bolts. The eye-catching feature is the so-called hybrid fleegle heel, integrated nicely into the purl stripes in the pattern and worked in the round.

The socks are knit from the top down and feature a hybrid fleegle heel, i. e. heel flap and gusset are integrated into the leg and are knit in the round. The pattern includes three sizes to fit leg circumference:
17.5 (20, 22.5) cm 7 (7.75, 9)”. Leg length results in 20.5 (22.75, 25.25) cm 8 (9, 10)“ when knit as given in the pattern, adjustable (see notes in pattern). Foot length is adjustable.

You can choose to work the Zigzag pattern either from the charts or the written instructions.

Material: 1 skein of fingering weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 400 m (440 yds) per 100 g.
Notions: 9 stitch markers, darning needle.
