Thysania is a hybrid of a shawl and a cardigan, or an oversized shrug. I was skeptical about this type of piece, because I had tried on one or two that I didn’t find flattering on me, but I had also seen some really nice ones and so I decided to challenge myself to create a one that would work for me. I believe that the key is to make it big enough, and I spent a good amount of time studying the shape and proportions to create the four sizes included.

A very engaging cable and eyelet pattern adorns a simple rectangle,which is sewn up to create armholes. Sitches are then picked up for sleeve cuffs and a generous collar.
