This roomy, comfortable cardigan will become a favorite go-to garment. Designed with layering in mind, it can be thrown over a long-sleeved tee, another sweater, or even your pajamas when you run out to pick up the newspaper. The sweater works equally well with a closer fit, for a bit dressier look.

Tibienne is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes and then divided for the fronts and back. It’s designed with approximately 6” of positive bust ease for a loose, roomy fit. It closes with a small button and cord hidden under the color. Leave it unbuttoned and let the fronts form small lapels, for a swinging open look.

The sweater is knit in 6 colors of worsted weight yarn. In the suggested yarn, the sweater uses 2 skeins of Color A (border color), 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of Colors B-E, and 1 skein of Color F.
