A hat and blanket set makes perfect sense: they are both useful for a long time with a growing a baby. But they have to be durable, soft, and washable and they ought to be beautiful. Hand dyed sock yarn to the rescue!

The fun shape of this hat works for a boy or girl and the matching blanket echoes the textures that show handpainted colors so well.
