This beautiful blanket is perfect for a boy or a girl. I measured for the gauge by measuring from the “valley” of one chevron to the “valley” of the next, which came up to 3”. I also measured the length at the valleys. I find that the measurements from other areas are different. The yarns I used are Lion Brand Pound of Love in Denim (approx. 765 yds) and Pastel Green (approx. 670 yds).
