This is a pattern for a Escher-like fish and waves designed double knit potholder. The pattern provides instructions for creating the potholder in either 3 colors or 2 colors. The double knitting creates a double thick fabric which is good for protecting hands and counters.

Each side is worked stockinette stitch on both sides. It includes my own method for cast-off which creates a solid unified looking edge.

The pattern pdf includes:
• Photo of finished item (front and back)
• Supply list
• Abbreviations
• Pictures of Color options (Primarily based on Sugar N Cream Yarns)
• Written instruction
• 2 Color Charts - One for each side (while knitting even & odd rows)
• 2 Uncolored charts of design to test out your own color combinations with color pencils or to ‘print screen’ and paste into Microsoft paint to pour color into the squares.

Yardage Requirements: Lily Sugar ‘N Cream, 4-ply cotton yarn

• 3-color Design: Navy: 58 yards, Light Blue 2 ‘balls’ are needed: 9 yards & 29 yards, Soft Orange: 23 yards
• 2-color Design: 58 yards of each color
