The third pattern in The Beach Collection, Tide is a triangular shawl worked side-to-side in a simple, repetitive lace pattern, which is well suited to highly variegated yarn. Choose the wildest skein from your stash and watch the colors subtly swirl around the eyelet stripes! The side–to-side construction makes a shallow triangle shape that grows faster in length than it does in width, making a respectable size shawl with a single skein of fingering weight yarn. Three sizes are given in the pattern, and further adjustments can be made by changing your gauge or yarn.
