Lace, coupled with aran, finished with a victorian twist, this cardigan is great for work, play or a walk on the beach. It has the luxurious soft drape of recycled cashmere/cotton yarn, it is flattering with a fitted tie slightly above the waist (at the narrowest part of the body) and a loose, blouse-like bodice. MATERIALS

• Shown in VITA by Plymouth Yarn Company (85% recycled cotton, 15% recycled cashmere; 50g = approx. 136 yards per skein) in pink carnation; 7 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12, 13) skeins or approximately 950 (1,000, 1,100, 1,200, 1,300, 1,400, 1,500, 1,600, 1,700) yards.
• U.S. #7, #8 and #9 circular needles at least 32” in length.
• Place markers, row markers and tapestry needle.

GAUGE
18 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in Seeded Rib Stitch (see Pattern Notes) on U.S. #8 needles.

CONSTRUCT
Worked from the bottom up. Sleeves and body are worked separately and joined at the underarm, then worked as one piece to the neck. The belt is “built-in” and the collar is knit separately. Finishing includes seaming underarms/ sleeves and joining collar.
