From our 2018 Knit HAT-Along “Tigers”:
a fun fair isle hat to make for every member of your family!

Make your Tigers in just White or Orange, Black & White, with this quick fair isle pattern. Sized to fit Babies, Children and Adults, you can also use either Tiger on your hat.

Baby Size fits 14 to 16-inch circumference and is knit with #4 circulars and #3 DK/Light Worsted yarn (model knit with Deramores Studio DK, a lovely soft yarn).

Child Size fits 16 to 18-inch circumference and is knit with #6 circulars and #4 Aran/Worsted yarn (model knit with Caron Simply Soft Party, a sparkly metallic).

Adult Size fits 20 to 22-inch circumference and is knit with #7 circulars and #4 Aran/Worsted yarn (model knit with Lion Brand 175 Basic, a wool blend Roving).

Instructions and Charts include Close-Ups of the interchangeable Tigers and 2 sizes of the hat charts.

I’ve added some different techniques for the “sparkle” in the White Tigers’ eyes, and slipped key stitches on the Orange Tigers so that you only use 2 colors at a time, but continue some colors into the next round.
