The Tiger King Hat

………..is based on the stylish and rather dashing cloche hats of the 1920s, early 30s. This design draws you into focus on the wearer’s eyes.

The cable pattern combines the traditional with the contemporary. Cable designs always look so amazing - the all-over cable lends simplicity to the design and adds extra warmth. The design can be adapted; make the Tiger King Hat longer (so it hangs down at the crown, or doubles over to keep your ears toasty), and also wider (use a larger needle size).

The main body of the design is worked with no decreases or increases (except for the crown where you decrease evenly all around until you have 8 stitches). The pattern is worked in the round with no seams. NB: Tiger King is unisex - and one size fits all (although if you want a much ‘baggier’ style, use larger size needles).
