I have rather tight tension and wasn’t able to find a pattern that I could make work for myself so I came up with my own and am sharing it with you all just in case you have tight tension issues like I do too. Enjoy!

Worsted Weight Yarn
5.5mm/I hook
Darning Needle
Scissors

Chain 24 slip stitch together.
Chain 2 HDC in 24 around for rows 1-5
Row 6 increase on stitch 12 (25 stitches total)
Row 7 25 HDC around
Row 8 HDC 5 inc HDC 5 inc HDC 5 inc HDC 7 (28 stitches around)
Row 9 HDC around
Row 10 HDC 10, ch 4 skip 4 stitches HDC in fourth stitch counted as skipped and remaining stitches (28 stitches)
Rows 11-17 HDC around (28 stitches)
Ribbing: Chain 7, sc in second loop from hook and sc down (6 sc total) slip stitch into the next two stitches. BLO SC into first chain, then chain one and BLO SC down the chain and slip stitch into the next two stitches. Continue as such until you can slip stitch the first and last rows together.
Weave in ends and wear them out and about!
