Tiima is a beret made of a sport weight yarn, consisting of the actual lace hat, and a lining, making it even warmer.

For this hat you need apart from the yarn and needles 1.1 yd / 1 m satin band, width ½“ / 1 cm, and 144 glass beads size 3,5 mm. You also need a crochet hook size 0,75 mm or a piece of fishing line or wire for adding beads.

The size can be varied by changing needles and that way changing gauge. If you want to make the hat in a yarn that has a completely different gauge, there is a note in the pattern for how to vary the amount of stitches.

There is a chart for the lace, but the rest is a written pattern.

Skills needed: knit through back loop, purl, yarn over, knit two together, slip slip knit, cross stitches (explained in the pattern), adding pearls (explained in the pattern, pictures included). You also need patience - especially when making the decreasing of the lace hat you have to follow the pattern with patience to get a good result.
