The Tilly legwarmers are worked in the round from the bottom up. Increases are incorporated into the patterning on the sides of the pattern repeat.

YARN:
Any worsted or light worsted weight yarn with good stitch definition.
GAUGE:
20 sts + 24 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Mistake Rib on larger ndls, after blocking.
NEEDLES:
1 - US 4 (3.5 mm) set dpns. 1 - US 5 (3.75 mm) set dpns.
NOTIONS:
Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle.
SIZE:
10.5” (26.75 cm) cuff circumference at bottom, 12.75” (32.25 cm) cuff circumference at top. 18” (45.75 cm) length.
SKILLS:
Knitting in the round, basic cables from charts, increasing, decreasing.

Errata:

TOP CUFF: Rnds 1+2: P all sts. Rnds 3+4: K all sts.
Rnds 5-7: P all sts. Change to smaller ndls. Rnd 8: K1, p1; rep from around. Work in ribbing as set for 2” (5cm). BO all sts in patt loosely.

Additionally, there is a symbol is missing from the chart key: the box with a “V” is a make one increase.
