The Tilly Bandana is a simple, quick, and fun-to-knit bandana cowl. Knit from the bottom up, flat, for the bandana portion, it then transitions to being knit in the round to work the cowl section. The Tilly Bandana is a companion accessory to the Tilly Tee and Tilly Crop patterns and features the same lace stitch pattern.

Materials:
On The Round Plush DK in Latte colorway (Superwash Merino wool, 218 yards/ 100g) Approximately 210 yards / 192 meters OR 1 skein (note: you may want to purchase an additional skein for swatching and to cover variances in row gauge)

Gauge:
• 20 stitches and 25 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat, blocked lightly

Needles:
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) 16” / 40 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

The Tilly Bandana is knit from the bottom up. The bandana portion is knit flat. To create the cowl, stitches are cast on and the cowl is worked in the round. Decreases are worked on the back neck edge to create a tapered in shape on the cowl.
