This rectangular lace shawl is the fifth in a series of 12 patterns that form my Canadian Art Deco Knits e-book. You can buy them individually or as part of the e-book.

This geometric pattern is based on a decorative metal grille in the gigantic Bank of Nova Scotia building in downtown Toronto. It is worked on the bias.

The lace weight sample used 80g of Shelridge Yarns Soft Touch Lace in Rust (approx. 840yds/768m) and Chart B was worked 10 times. The final size was 84”/213cm long by 11.5”/29cm wide.

The fingering weight sample used 170g of Raventwist Myrrah in Slate (approx. 700yds/640m) and Chart B was worked 6 times. The final size was 68”/173cm long by 15”/38cm wide.
