The Time to Make the Donuts set from Chaos Fiber Company is used to make this rectangular stole, which you can wear in many different ways. The central lace is reminiscent of the donuts themselves in wild sprinkle colors! The wide garter edging adds to the coziness of the shawl.

Finished Size: 48”x 74” once wet blocked, easily modified; instructions included.

Yarn: Chaos Fiber Company Time to Make the Donuts mini set, 100% Superwash Merino, 438 yards/100g. Sample used 12x20g Time To Make the Donuts mini set and Merlin sock base 80/20 merino nylon full-size skein, totaling approximately 1464 yards. Sample used approximately 1435 yards.

Needles: 24” or longer circular needle, size 4 US (3.50mm), or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 20 stitches and 24 rows/4” in gently wet-blocked stockinette stitch.
One repeat (12 stitches by 24 rows): 3.5” tall by 2” wide, gently wet-blocked.
Gauge is not critical for this item but will affect yardage used and drape.

Notions: Two ½” buttons. I used clear lightweight plastic, so they disappear when not buttoned.
