A timeless pattern that’s sure to become an instant classic in your wardrobe
Whether you’re looking for a great gift to knit for a special someone, or a new accessory to liven up your cold-weather wardrobe, this is the hat for you! The pattern is actually two accessories in one: the pattern features a lace hat with a removable cabled headband that can be worn together or separately for three looks in one project.

Design Inspiration
The design of this hat echoes the beautiful traditional cabled sweaters found in Ireland. Terryglass is a village in Ireland which has two holy wells. Eye Well and St. Columba’s Headache Well. Local legend holds that these wells cure blindness and migraines. The Timeless Terryglass Hat won’t cure your physical ills, but the process of knitting it may transport your spirit to an enchanted scenic countryside!

Design for Everyone
Adventures in Knitting patterns give you a map so you can learn a new technique while making your project! If you’re a newer knitter, you won’t be left not knowing where to turn: this pattern features fully-explained instructions and linked tutorials for all the major techniques beyond knit and purl, so even if you’ve never tried a particular technique before, I’ve got you covered! The pattern features instructions and tutorials for:

  • Working in the round using modified magic loop (only one needle needed!)
  • Knitting Cables
  • All required stitches

This pattern includes both written and charted directions, so you can choose the method you prefer.

If you’re a more advanced knitter, you’ll love all the different techniques you get to play with in one pattern! A little bit of lace, some cables and a button add interest to this project and make it a design you’ll want to knit again and again.

Knitting one of these patterns is like taking a knitting workshop from the comfort of your own home!
