This shawl collar cardigan with graphic colorwork is sized for tweens, teens, and adults. Knit with bulky yarn, it looks much more complicated than it is. The patterning is done with mosaic knitting, so only one strand of yarn is used at a time. The body and sleeves are both worked flat to the armholes, at which point they’re joined and the raglan yoke decreases are done seamlessly. Stitches are picked up along the front edges and neck opening for the ribbed edging and shawl collar. There are no closures other than an optional belt.

The sample sweater is 40” and worn with about 5” of ease.
