I am not claiming credit for the Bavarian stitch. This is a variation which I haven’t come across before.
Gauge is not important; it will vary depending on which yarn and hook you decide to use. I used worsted weight yarn and size H hook, and my square was 8 inches.
Make many small squares and connect them for an afghan, or just make one giant square!
