Tipsu is a slightly slouchy hat with a 2-colour stitch pattern. The pattern gives two alternative stitch patterns.

The stitch pattern has a chart. The size can be altered with more or less pattern stitch repeats of 4 or 12 stitches.

Tension in stranded stockinette stitch is 22 sts / 10 cm. The brim is knitted in a tighter tension of 23 sts / 10 cm.

Yarn:

• about 60 g in the background colour
• about 20 g in the pattern colour
• 2 ply wool yarn works well
• suitable for stranded knitting
• the pattern colour can be a variegated colour

The model is knitted in a woollen spun Finnsheep wool yarn.
