Tiptoe Slippers is a simple and fast knitting project for an intermediate knitter. The pattern includes two versions: in version A the toe is knitted with the contrasting color to produce a gradient effect; like you dipped your toes in to paint. In version B contrasting color is only used for colorwork stripe. Two options for knitting the cuff rib are also provided. The slippers have 0 ease around the ankle and 1-2 cm (1/2-3/4”) positive ease towards the toes.

Sizing: kids to adult’s: XS (S, M, L)
Finished circumference: 18 (21, 23, 25,5) cm = 7 1/8 (8 1/4, 9, 10) inches

Materials: Approximately 100 g (~220 yards) worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn in main color and 20 g (~44 yards) in contrasting color.

Skill level: Intermediate. The pattern includes knitting in round with DPN’s, a short row heel (using German short rows) and stranding. Colorwork instructions written. A photo tutorial for short rows included.
