♫ The Music ♫
Tishialuk Girls is a jaunty, traditional song from Labrador & Newfoundland, Canada, recorded by many artists including The Flummies and Great Big Sea.

A lovely cable and lace stitch decorates both the front and back cuff of these fingerless mitts. That pattern continues on the back of each mitt while the palm is worked in an irregular twisted rib. The outer thumb sports a tiny twisted cable just for that little extra touch!

Both charts and written directions for charts are provided. Charts are contained in this document; the written directions for charts are included as a separate PDF. For chart users: the chart for the cuff incorporates multiple sizes while individual charts are given for each size for both left and right upper hand. The written directions for charts include separate directions for each size for all elements.

The stretchy bind off requires the knitter to be able to ‘read their knitting’ i.e. identify knit and purl stitches as they present themselves.

The cable in this pattern matches the Tishialuk Socks and the Tishialuk Cowl.
