Tishialuk Girls is a jaunty, traditional song from Labrador & Newfoundland, Canada, recorded by many including The Flummies and Great Big Sea.

Pattern Notes
These toe-up socks begin with a wide (wedge) toe. The instep is worked in the main cable pattern with narrow oval cables along either side while the sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. Short rows are used to shape the heel base and the heel flap is worked in a Horizontal Herringbone stitch. BONUS: A separate photo tutorial PDF is included for working this stitch pattern.

The front and back leg share the same cable pattern as the instep. Two ribbing charts are provided for flexibility. The bind off requires the knitter to be able to ‘read’ the stitches i.e. identify knit and purl stitches as they present themselves.

Both charts and written directions for charts are provided in the pattern.
