Zippers are showing up everywhere and this cowl pattern offers two fashionable options - one that incorporates an industrial-type metal zipper and an I-cord bind-off, and another version knitted without the zipper. Both versions are knit on a small circular needle in an easy-to-memorize lace pattern.

Skill level: easy
Measurements: 22 “ circumference and 7 1/2” height
Materials: Approximately 125-150 yds worsted weight wool. One 12” circular needle US size 8 or size needed to get required gauge. Zippered version requires one 7” non-separating metal zipper, matching sewing thread and needle.
Pattern includes both written instructions and lace chart.
