Brioche is one of those “scary” knitting techniques that even advanced knitters hesitate to try. It doesn’t have to be scary! This easy hat is a great introduction to Brioche.

This hat begins with a Garter Stitch brim, then goes into Brioche. To make things extra simple, the crown decreases are worked over 1x1 Rib instead of Brioche, which is not noticeable in the finished hat. A pom-pom tops the whole thing off.
