Keep your feet and toes warm and toasty with this fast and fun sock pattern using a 40 peg 3/8” gauge loom (CinDWood, KB AIO, KB Sock Loom 2). Finished size is 8” in circumference but stretches to fit up to 9” or more depending on yarn used. Length of sock can be made smaller or larger to adjust various shoe sizes by following notes in pattern. Pattern is worked in the round from top down.

Recommended yarn is cascade pacific which is a ww superwash wool/ acrylic blend and very soft! For a shoe size of women’s size 9 or smaller 1 ball of the cascade pacific yarn is enough to make one pair of socks. Other yarns can be substituted as well but yarns which offer stretch and elasticity such as wool or wool blends or those with lycra, polyurethane or nylon work best.

Pattern includes detailed written instructions for each section of the sock including row by row instructions and video tutorial for heel and toe shaping.

Techniques used include uwrap knit, purl, and wrapping and turning pegs. Pattern includes helpful websites and tips for creating a perfect fitting sock based on shoe size as well as links for various methods to help with binding off your socks.
