The Toasty Warm Ponytail Hat was designed for my sister who likes to walk and run in cold weather, but could not find a hat that would allow her to wear her hair in a ponytail. The hat design is worked with bulky yarn to keep your head warm and is adjustable for the perfect fit. There is plenty of room for your ponytail to be higher or lower. It’s a great hat for everyone.

The pattern uses less than an entire skein of Charisma yarn, so you can use the remainder to add a flower or other design, if you like. You can also use your favorite buttons to secure the adjustable flap.

This is an amazingly quick project for the experienced crocheter, but is great for a beginner, as well.

Materials Needed:
Loops & Threads Charisma yarn or other bulky (size 5) yarn.
One or Two buttons for closure.
