The toddler Tundra pattern is the perfect mix between a slipper and a baby-style bootie, but sized for a toddler! Knit in rustic worsted weight wool for warmth and coziness, this boot both stays on securely and can be removed easily with the help of creative design and toggles.

This is an adventurous beginner pattern due to its construction, but has a very simple, easy-to-pick-up cable pattern around the cuff. It is constructed from the sole up--working the sole flat, the shoe body in the round, the cable cuff flat and finally knitting both the shoe and the cuff together using the three needle bind off technique. This adds a beautiful twist between the shoe and the cuff. The tundra is perfect for stash yarn and makes a cozy, unique gift for busy toddlers.

This pattern is also available in newborn and baby sizes:
