The total st number is 52 sts which made a small - medium pair of sock (foot and ankle circumference of 21cm). The ginkgo leaf motif is a repeat of 13 sts so to make a larger socks it is better to use larger needles and thicker yarn e.g. 3.25-4mm rather than increase st number.
