Here is my toe-up adaptation of Linda Welch’s excellent Spring Forward socks.

This is basically my working backwards through Linda’s pattern, using a magic loop cast on (2.25mm circ), Cat Bhordi’s gusset increases ingeniously knitted into the sole of the sock, and a short row heel based on that of Cookie A’s excellent Baudelaire socks.

I’ve used this pattern with great success, and I hope that other’s enjoy it too.
