A basic toe-up sock pattern for toddlers and small children. This would be an appropriate pattern for a first time sock knitter who is already familiar working in the round. This pattern is written to be knit one sock at a time, but could easily be knitted two at a time. These socks can easily be adapted to include stripes, color working, or even lace components! A great jumping off point.

This pattern can be worked over 5 size 2 dpns or a circular needle in the magic loop method, whichever you are more comfortable with.

Finished Sizes: Small 2-3 years old, (Medium 3-4 years old, Large 4-5 years old) yield unstretched socks measuring 5” (6”, 7”). Instructions for changing the length of the socks are given in the pattern.
